What rules apply when riding?

Use a helmet and knee, elbow and wrist protectors. Children under 8 years must ride under adult supervision; beginners under the supervision of parents or friends. Do not exceed 100 kg. Choose a suitable area and avoid places where accidents have already occurred or other people are riding. Begin practice on a flat surface or a gentle slope. If you lose balance or reach excessive speed, step off in time, stop and start again; the board must not endanger others. Learn to fall safely; a fall may cause a fracture. Slow down before stepping off. When the skateboard is stationary, place one foot on the ground first and then the other. The skateboard is not intended for tricks, only for recreational sport. Use a skateboard club when learning new skills. Consider your own and others' safety.
