What do moms really want for Mother's Day and it's not flowers

An anonymous Internet survey showed that mothers want to donate "time" more than anything else on International Women's Day.
The results showed that 58% of mothers wish to have free time and be able to "drop everything" for this day, while 51% of mothers would like to spend quality time with their family.
The study also showed that 42% of mothers would like to read a book, 44% would like to watch TV, 30% would like to engage in their favorite hobby or creative activity.
The results of the study are not surprising given that many mothers feel overwhelmed and stressed on a daily basis.
Since work and housework are the main sources of stress for 65%, respectively 58% of mothers, it is understandable that they want to treat themselves to the necessary rest and relaxation at the MDŽ.
If you want to make sure the mothers in your life get the gift of time this day, there are a few things you can do.
One idea is to plan a special outing, such as a picnic in the park, a trip to the zoo, or a day at the spa. This will give her the opportunity to relax and enjoy time outside of her daily routine.
Another option is to take over some household duties for the day.
Doing laundry, washing dishes, or cleaning the house can give her a break from everyday tasks and allow her to focus on relaxation.
Cooking her favorite meal is another great way to show her you care. Preparing a delicious meal for her will allow her to take a break from cooking and enjoy a delicious meal without any effort on her part.
After all, giving her a day off is one of the best gifts you can give.
If you take the kids out for the day and let her spend the day doing whatever she wants, whether it's reading a book, taking a nap, or watching her favorite TV show, you're giving her time and relaxation.
Whether you plan a big celebration or just give her time to relax, she will appreciate the effort and consideration.
